The Veronicas, c'est le nouveau groupe pop/rock top sensas' australien, composé de Lisa et Jessica (Jess pour les intimes^^), deux soeurs jumelles nées le jour de noël (Non, non, c'est vrai, c'est pas que pour la rime...). Leur premier album "The Secret Life Of..." a cartonné en Australie et se prépare à traverser l'océan Pacifique pour tout déchirer aux States (Bah ouais, elles font du pop/rock, donc c'est des rebelles, donc forcément elles déchirent tout...) !

Nos deux Australiennes, âgées tout juste de 20 ans, ont été propulsées au rang de super-méga-stars-des-d'jeuns-rebelles en à peine quelque mois, grâce à leur premier single 4ever (Non, elles pouvaient pas écrire "Forever", "4ever" c'est plus tendance y paraît, pi comme c'est des sacrées d'jeuns...) qui a été sacré disque d'or dès sa troisième semaine dans les charts, puis disque de platine en moins de temps qu'il n'en faut pour l'écrire. Puis ont suivis leur album (disque d'or dès sa première semaine dans les charts, puis disque de platine) et leur second single (Le dernier en date) : Everything I'm Not (Qui est déja disque d'or et semble vouloir squatter le Top 10 encore un p'tit moment).!!!

Grâce à leur talent de musiciennes indéniable, les Veronicas ont réussi à se faire un nom et à se démarquer des autres "Avril Lavigne". Effectivement, à part le fait que leur biographie officielle nous apprend qu'elles chantaient avant même de savoir marcher (Comme c'est original), elles sont auteurs/compositeurs de la plupart de leurs titres... Et même des titres d'autres artistes, comme "All About Us", récemment interprété par le duo russe t.A.T.u (La classe, à tout juste 20 piges, non ?).

Elles marquent aussi les esprits grâce à la puissance de leurs voix (qui - mettons nous d'accord dès à présent, sinon on ne va pas arriver à s'entendre - ne font pas mal au crâne), l'harmonie de leur duo (En même temps, c'est normal pour des jumelles...) et leurs performances live irréprochables, que ce soit sur des chansons douces - Euh, non - lentes (Elles font pas mal au crâne, d'accord, mais de la à dire qu'elles font dans la douceur...) ou sur des chansons qui déchirent leur maman. Il arrive même à Jess (Oh yeah) de sortir sa guitare, pour nous montrer que ses talents ne se limitent pas au chant... Ou peut-être essaie-t-elle de se démarquer de sa soeur ? Peut-être songe-t-elle déja à faire sa Geri Halliwell ? Peut-être la prochaine Star War sera-t-elle : "La recherche de gloire déchire même les liens du sang : Lisa VS Jess" ? Mais non ! On vous rassure, Jess ne serait rien sans Lisa, et vice versa : elles sont soeurs, meilleures amies, et (Si ça, c'est pas folichon) il leur arrive même de terminer les phrases l'une de l'autre tellement elles sont connectées psychologiquement !

Pour la dernière phase de la tentative de conversion que vous êtes en train de subir, nous avons gardé le meilleur : leurs goûts musicaux : que de la GCR ! Avril, Lindsay, Ashlee, Kelly, Hilary... Toutes y passent !!

Tout ceci étant dit, quoi de mieux que quelques titres pour prouver que The Veronicas Can Rock ?

moi aussi jai acheter leur album mais au Québec. Yer tellement bon. J'était suposer aller les voir a toronto cette été mais elles on du canceller la tournée parce que le médecin de lisa dit qu'il veut pas qu'elle chante.Je croit que c'est du a un problème de voix. On aurait pu se passer des commentaires inutiles comme ""4ever" c'est plus tendance y paraît, pi comme c'est des sacrées d'jeuns" ou "Bah ouais, elles font du pop/rock, donc c'est des rebelles, donc forcément elles déchirent tout..". On dirait un présentateur de NRJ qui essaye de vendre sa merde.

J'ai pas dit que le groupe que soutien ce site était de la merde. J'écoute et je trouve sa intéressant bien que trop commercial à mon goût. Certaines chansons sont agréables à écouter, mais sa s'arrête là. Elles ont rien inventé... Sa rappel les autres "Avril Lavigne" comme vous dites dans cet articles. Elles ne se démarquent pas, elles surfent sur cette vague de groupes à minettes qui jouent les rebelles.
Côté mélodie c'est la même chose. Elles ont beau composer elles-mêmes, c'est du déjà vu. Rien de nouveau.

Je tiens aussi à rajouter que ce côté "rebelles" comme vous dites ici n'est qu'une façade. Oui, c'est plus vendeur pour les jeunes adolescent.

C'est exactement la même biographie que pr le site www.theveronicasfrance.new.fr!! Je ne sais pas qui a copié l'autre ou alors de quel site vient cette bio mais il serait mieux de mettre la source je pense, par respect pour le véritable auteur... C'est pas un critique, hein... C'est juste un conseil pour que ça se retourne pas contre toi!
